We need your help, and we need it now. You can help the homeless simply by wearing your pajamas on February 9, 2012 and participating in PJ Day activities. PJ DAY serves as a reminder that not everyone has a place to put on their pajamas and go to sleep at night. The money raised on PJ Day goes directly to Denver's Road Home, which gives homeless men, women and children an alternative to sleeping on the streets.

For seven years, Denver's Road Home has partnered with Residence Inn Denver City Center to host the PJ Party. Thanks to the generosity of the Residence Inn all costs of the party are underwritten and 100% of the dollars raised go to Denver's Road Home. The Party is now the culminating event of PJ DAY, which has raised awareness and over $2 million to date in partnership with Mile High United Way. Our work is not done though and there are still thousands of homeless who need our help. We welcome the support of all our schools, businesses and other private and public groups in ending homelessness.

PJ DAY donations have helped to:

·         Develop over 2,300 units of affordable, supportive housing

·         Connect 5,817 individuals with employment

·         Prevent 5,714 families and individuals from becoming homeless

·         Mentor over 1,000 families and seniors out of homelessness

·         Reduce chronic homelessness by 75% (based on Point in Time Counts)

PJ DAY is a wonderful opportunity to be part of the solution - connecting the homeless to the support they need for a more viable Denver community. We look forward to partnering with you on PJ DAY. Together, we can help end homelessness one person at a time.

Denver’s Road Home is a collaboration between the City and County of Denver, Mile High United Way, homeless service providers, foundations, businesses, faith-based organizations and the greater community. It works by connecting homeless men, women, children and families to affordable housing with wrap-around support services, which enable them to live a life of self-sufficiency.
